Seen here in a Reuters photo, my Porcelain Daughter, Lockheed Hayheehoo (Hay), has cast her vote in Basra, Iraq... She is on a redeye return flight from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv to JFK airport tonight... Last time in Israel before the Intifada, security gave her a real hard time even with the U.S. passport and the Star of David belt she wears. I will have to discipline her for using Mother's credit card to pay for the flight. Youthful Romanticism has once again taken hold of her... First it was Sudan, then the Tsunami, now it's the Iraqi, um, 'election'... heck, I really thought we were liberated from the Bullet's Song...
