Early last night, Lockheed was brought to near tears after reading this quote,"'I can't hear, I can't hear!' shouted a female soldier as another soldier ran over and hugged her." The Western Hemisphere awakens this morning, to the deadliest single attack since the ignition of the powderkeg in Iraq. If you ever had the luxury of a 9 millimeter Beretta go off within earshot of you, you know the ringing and the temporary 'deafness' that ensues... This poor girl had to deal with a 122 millimeter rocket exploding within earshot, and it just moved me to tears that she cried in awe of her deafness, the temporary ethilial nerve damage of shellshock... to the point where all one could do was hug her? Get them home. At least the women. We could take care of this shit another time in a better way... C'mon, pony up cowboy... If I was there, I would hug her too until all the bad in the world gave way...
