Damned Ghosts of Wall Street...

It followed me home after the close on Friday...
choked me in my sleep, yet I lay awake unable to
shout my fiancee's name... in vain, I knew who it was,
the ghost of long dead debtor, one of the many fallen
brood of Buy and Sell. With my wits, I hope to beat this
ghost, once again choosing the old stock market as my
vehicle... Alas, I have no choice really, for the Debt Train
is picking up speed, accelerating around the bend...
but I shall not become one of them.
Mark my words, damned ghost... Posted by Hello

BOJ statements project growth levels to slow a

How to Silence a Screaming Chinaman!

China rears its big head and raises rates for the first time in nine years. What the hell does this mean? USD rallies across the board, as Asian currencies sell off due to fears of a slowdown in the Asian Region. What else does this mean? Exports from China too Expensive? Imports from US a better deal? Current Account Deficit narrows? What the fuck does this all mean? Hint at revaluation? A slow down in China means what for the USD?Rate hikes by the Fed to maintain the peg?I don't have a clue, nobody does! Because the USD just retraced over 100% of its fucking rally in about 20 minutes. For Godsakes! Posted by Hello

MechaGodzilla the New Terrorist WMD?

Japanese posted better than expected Retail Sales month on month 1.0 vs .1, however Industrial Production was a weak -.7 vs a previous .1, leaving dollar/yen a mixed bag...but NO! Wait! Rumour has it that Tokyo intercepted news of an impending terrorist attack on United States soil that is said will eclipse(lunar eclipse tonight as Red Sox sweep) the destruction and violence of 911. Living on the Edge already from their earthquakes, Usd/Jpy continues its sell off with mild rhetoric from the MoF, getting very close to the 106.00 figure(106.03) at time of writing.

The 100 Year Anniversary of the NYC subway system... how high can the price for incompetence go, Mr. Bloomberg? By year's end the $70 monthly pass will cost $86, let alone the hike to $2 per single ride in the past two years... they say it's necessary to maintain the payroll of 1200 MTA employees to continue doing what they do best: Nothing. Consumer Confidence Sucks, yet Market Shrugs of News...

Consumer Confidence dropped while HayHeeHoo was sleeping at 14:00 GMT on Tuesday, from 96.7 to 92.8, but that was still better than the whisper numbers of a reading as low as 90. For some reason, the DJIA rallied off this news, as did the USD. I see this as a perfect opportunity to re-establish a short position on all USD pairs. Nice fucking whisper number. Did they pay some college interns to call up every housewife to find out that they were only getting manicures and skipping out on the pedicures this Christmas? I hate these bullshit whisper numbers that manipulate market sentiment. So the Porcelain Doll recommends gaining further Edge on this sad excuse for a dollar cover. Freaking cowards covering their long positions in Eur/Usd, going to the pool. I'm going to the beach. Fine. Fine!Miss out. The big run is going through 128.50 to the double peaks of springtime by early November. And you could twiddle your fingers on the sideline, watching your dumbass reality tv shows, you fucking queers.

Determining the Value of Nothing...

I've often come up with many different proposals for new markets, two of which have been consulted and then patented by Tradesports.com. They were usually along the lines of a spread based death toll in the Middle East conflicts, 4 IDF=2PLO, tasteless but still a very tradeable market. Tradesports toned it down, because it was too difficult to find a precise news source for casualties(the ongoing Gaza Strip Conflict). They simply turned it into a straight bet whether or not there would be a Palestinian nation by 2005. But now, I've been trumped completely, by the new exchange for CO2. Carbon Dioxide will soon be a tradeable instrument. What the fuck? I don't know how it works exactly, but it has something to do with the emission quotas from production plants, and whether they can go over or under them and use the CO2 tonnes(lot size I guess), to hedge their Pollution Fines. I find this amazing that you can put a dynamic price on the value of an odorless, invisible, nothingness. Kinda takes Existentialism to the Extreme. Camus and Sartre would be proud gaylords.

Who Would Be a Poor Man, a Beggar Man, a Thief... If he had a Rich Man in his Hand...

This harkens back to a Christmas day in the late 70's... one of the toys I recieved from Santa[(who I knew was my Dad, but pretended not to know to make him happy(I could see his straight black hair peaking through his fake white beard)]... he bought me a plastic/cardboard Tic Tac Toe set. My two older brothers would not play the 'boardgame' with me, one too preocupied with his 'chemistry set', the other deeply entranced by his video game, both of which found my Tic Tac Toe far too fucking retarded of a game to even bother playing just one fucking game with their baby brother. So, I think my Mom might have played a game with me. Well, I love them both, this was just a digression from the bidding and asking that consumes my soul...

Um, I guess I'm Not Undecided Anymore... Here Kitty, kitty...

Minute Casualties, 17 Dead, 1000 Wounded. Rural Structural Damage. An earthquake of 6.8 on the richter scale hitting Tokyo would have killed 7000 people. Recommendation: At Market Open, ride potential short squeeze(30 pips) in Usd/Jpy, then re-establish long term short position on pullback. Stay Calm.
