Pre-FOMC... KILL-O-WEEN NIGHT... When the Dogs Do Find Her...

I wouldn't call rolling muni-paper auction rate certs trading... but I'm trading mainly forex these days... some crude oil, but not much... occasionally JDSU position trades... but that's it...

I'm trading alternate frequencies heavily... So much that I am 99.9999% estranged from Lockheed himself...

...at times the turtle Chewy dreams... of times to come... Chewy transfers his conscious to me based on dream sense while I sleep... and I see times to come(which have already occurred) but times to come in the linear sense...

...I am slightly oracular for about 38.2 weeks starting about one week ago...

...oracular not on the market, but oracular on the Ultimate Exchange. Or should I say the Penultimate Exchange. Money cannot buy a seat on this exchange... some are called, few are chosen...

...if you're interested, leave a comment.

Advanced GDP 3.8% v 3.6%e... Lockheed GDP -1.1%

A solid pace for growth helped the u.s. economy go into the weekend and end the macabre month of October on a small hiccup... as noted by myself being able to afford a special pair of socks for Curious(Hay also contributed by saving 50% of her lunch money and rolling it into 1week Massuchusetts Turnpike paper yielding 2.5% p.a.) ... even Chewy(Supongri) and Amex(Handudamesh) ate well and stayed warm despite the now commonplace absolute drop in temperature in October that takes place in less than a week from 100+ to freezing... I believe myself to be walking dead again of reasons that the written word cannot translate... I also had the very good roasted meats on Friday and Saturday night(it's 12:18am Sunday) I believe we set the clock back early Monday? The Halloween parade on 6th ave is always rambunctious but fun to bring the kids to watch at a distance...

Nothing until 10500 holds or repels like a skunks liquid defense...

...a futuristic(yet frozen frequency in time) image from the Brooklyn Bridge at lower Manhattan... natural gas back above 14 ahead of tomorrow's inventory numbers, Microsoft which has dorm rooms and a campus for its disciples will release earnings tommorow... perhaps a meaningful catalyst rather than a simple Bernanke relief rally... Bernanke can do the job, and at his age, I don't believe he will let any remnants of an ego get into his way, so we can presume status quo a la hawk... you've requested malice and disparagement, but I can only say he is so very plain looking and of high intellect but lacks the eccentricity needed to prompt any 'viscous praise or denigration'... although I must say, if you hold any muni-bonds from the commonwealth of puerto rico, you might want to unwind your positions... and re-evaluate in 2007.

Sumo Night and the new second most powerful man in the country...(not really)

Sumo Night at Madison Square Garden was a hit with the kids... proven by the fact that I had to sumo wrestle Curious with my right hand all night until he would fall asleep...
...in other news, Bernanke would be shitting bricks if he had to take the helm Five Years Ago, but it's smooth sailing now that the domestic economy has been clobbered during the tail end of Greenspan's reign... the market took the news well, but we'd much rather see four up days of 50 points on the Dow, instead of one 170 point day... too much too quick, puke your short position, but morever, close out your longs... net effect: clean the table again of hot tap water washed silverware because you can't afford detergent...

GOOG reports $1.52 ex items v 1.32e: +32 afterhours...

...young companies can't overshadow the big picture of cutting forecasts from PFE and INTC and the liks... let alone the Hawk...

I remember being long 1000 shares of GOOG in the summer... I remember closing it out...
I wish I didn't remember being long 1000 shares of GOOG.

PPI record highs MoM... oil inventories tommorrow, the dragon hath risen from slumber

Bloodsmoke... the 10yr yield must rise to 4.50...
...Curious' magic goblin lifo-meter camera captured bloodsmoke naked to the human eye rising from a sewer dragon near christopher street... ppi 15 year record MoM... so short a 12x15 forward rate, and go long the 9x12... keep doing this each month starting in November till May of 2006...

Doyer Street...

it's curved like a raised smashed elbow in chinatown...

expect one more month of a less telltale Net Foreign Purchases(TICS) next week, and perhaps a better adherence to earnings rather than the current flavor of the month...

...best thing to do about RFX woes... wait until CME settles down and go long, as surely the lost volume will be picked up by multiple small houses...

CPI blah...

been out of the loop... ex food and energy not too bad on the inflation front, but still high enough... relief rally to end the week...

...had the oddest night... went to the arclight theater to watch a small play, and this old man almost died in the audience and they stopped the play and it was beyond awkward when resuming...

Ailing Dow, despite earnings...

You didn't need the Oracle of Delphi to see Delphi's demise...

...the Turtle water was all dirty, so I cleaned it out, only to find out that either Chewseph or Amex stuck a rock in the filter...

...then I rearranged the flat dry lands, deepened the pool... fixed the filter... yet the dust from the rock movement hasn't settled yet...

Curious in his State of the Art Pocket-Submarine PS-I Alpha; engineered by Lockheed Martin

...it's an exploratory submarine that we made for Curious using Mum's clip on reading light... he likes to explore the dark sea chasms under the bed on weekend nights when it's raining as it is today... we brought him to the planetarium in the afternoon and that brought out the explorer in him again...

...it's the first solid rainfall we've had on this island for over 6 weeks, this island where they build upwards as opposed to sideways...

...Curious claims that there are 'hyb' tanks left over from the Guild Corporation(an ancient merchant ship that folded time; eventually filed for bankruptcy in 23600 c.e. and because planet Pluto-Janus did not fall under the jurisdiction of Milky Way bankrupty laws precisely at the coordinates of the time-closure apex, the Guild Corp assets were auctioned off, leaving the occasional 'hyb' tanks floating above Earth's atmosphere...) Curious truly believes one of the hyb tanks have fallen under our bed, and he believes there are pre-historic turtles in them, as well as a second hyb-tank which houses a crude un-utilized energy source from Pluto-Janus...

Introducing... Amex and Chewy...

Finally got the new camera software working... it was really just that I didn't have the usb cable clicked in all the way, and I didn't hit the ON button on the dock.

So here's a photo of Amex and Chewy... two red eared sliders bustling with repto-wisdom...

Amex is eating again, after a good two weeks of feeling under the weather... we hope he makes it... Two repto-sticks and some bloodworms for brunch... he is a good hunter...

Dow well below 10500; things could have been worse though...

...first overecast/drizzle yet no 'rain' day in Manhattan for over 6 weeks... I might take a jog around the Reservoir and go exploring... the other day I heard the loud baritone cackle of the Reservoir Monster around the northern bend... NonFarm Payrolls so far had not registered as large of a drop as expected, but ISM services prices paid were at a record high, with 10 yrs yielding back above 4.40%... Blockbuster SSS was down for september after Time warner gave out free one month HBO on demand to its subscribers... and of course the continued conglomeration of crap movies in all genres, gives Bollywood a chance for the Academy Award. The other day I walked into a Build a Bear workshop and they've launched the sister store Made to B a Friend, where you could make soft dolls... I bought mum a clip-on reading light with LED gradient so the light does not spread throughout the room at night... maybe will eat at Yakatori Taisho's in St. Marks tonight... haven't done so in a while...

ISM 59, Prices Paid Not as High... Double Bonus before Earnings Season...

Manufacturing sector posting major growth... Anyways, Hay won a certificate at the Youth Chess Tournament in Central Park, she made it to the third round(she pretended she didn't think it was a big deal, but when Curious grabbed the certificate she got mad)... We dropped her off at the Chess House early, and they all had pizza for lunch...(she didn't want us to watch her compete because it would make her nervous). Curious wanted to go to the mini-amusement park in Wollman Rink but it was finished for the season, and instead there were antique and exotic cars on display... we took him to the zoo, where they had alot of red ear slider turtles(like Amex and Chewy), and giant acorns in the petting zoo. And then after making a flat penny with a frog impression on it, we twirled around one ride on the Carousel as a substitute good for the amusement park... We also discovered two new eating boothes in the park, one near the softball fields below Sheep's Meadow, and then Leaping Frog Cafe at the Zoo, which we plan to go to when it's really crisp and cool out(perhaps November) and order hot chocolates and sit outside since Central park Zoo is open year round... My upper back is pulsating and aches as I type this... it's 1115am est, and sunny out... If I can't fall asleep by NOON, I'm going to get some vitamin-e sunlight outside... maybe read a book at Hudson or Centrax...
