GM Earnings, Proctor Gamble... Dollar Rangebound... and the PuppetMaster...

Street Fair on Columbus today... got some pics...will post later... but predominantly, an often overshadowed and rightfully so inhabitant of our home is 'Jonathan', who mum immediately held in disdain after she caught him speaking cryptic words to Hay several years ago... as you can tell the the NFP option premiums early on in the auction are skewed negatively, with overly optimistic economists' estimates of 183K seeming far fetched... Jonathan told me he was no longer included in the unemployment rate number, as his claims ran out three months ago, and he's simply not looking for a job... as I write this, he is eyeing mum's tikki masala and nan bread... slight drool hugging the bottom of his wooden lips...

Another NFP week served up delta neutral...

hot, cold... I want it fairly warm, not to hot, and definitely not ice cream cold, but ever the pessimist I am... the kids are upset because I have to research all weekend, and they wanted to go to Wollman Rink in the southeast end of Central Park where the summer mini amusement park is... Maybe mum can take them on sunday, dressed in their sunday best... but I did however, take a nice walk today and sat on a bench reading old fashioned valuation techniques, mixed in with dog watching and bird and pigeon stalking breadbits... I haven't compiled enough data on extreme tail moves in NFP and 10 year front months to properly utilize the econ derivatives... although the auctions will start on Monday... the gut move in me wants to place a straight digital all or nothing to shock my heart from flatline...

I Piss Like A Female...

My dog urinated like a female dog...
...Nowadays, I sit on the toilet to pee...

...NFP for next month will be 110K....
...Buy Digital Calls at Strike of 110K...

...you'll be golden...

I Wear the Yankees Helmet Again... Go North! Down With Antebellum Virginia...

Probabilites, and risk/reward...

Yankees are like Microsoft...

...always a buy...

Economic Derivatives to Hedge Your Hellfire...

...going to the Nauremburg Bandshell in Central Park around 730-800 ish... going to bring a sangwich and corresponding salt and vinegar chips... and a squirt bottle of water... if it's very warm... I will pass out and die like an old man...
...So Goldman and Deutsche have the Economic Derivatives, basically vanilla options or digitized straight payout on shit like nonfarm payrolls, and industrial production... it's such a thin dutch auction style market... you could really take advantage of... oh wait a minute... nevermind.

So Many To Replace Me... So Many To Be At Peace...

...there's quite the bustle in my hedgefund... and I'm alarmed now...

...FIRC division in shambles...

...dropped by another job expo...
...made a slight in with an aforementioned Swiss I-Bank... but not counting on it... I'd have greater probability getting struck by lightening right.... NOW!
...so NYPD asks if I want to take the exam for police officer... I say, "Shoot to kill, Hell yeah."
...then she says, civilian positions are on this phone number... she hands me a fucking pen.... A FUCKING PEN

...Bizzare... StopTime... Endgame...

Strange Hudson River night... in college, there was ketamine intranasal... mum and I watched a dog be put to death via ketamine fluids on Riverside South along the Hudson... in front of a bizarre octagonal dome with jewish dancers from israel wearing red and practicing for their three day performance tommorrow... on paper, it sounds reasonably logical and coherent... but when I was there... I knew the end of time both linear and spherical...

Hire em' All, Let the Cosmos Sort Them Out...

Not much action today... That's a good thing...
As the Sun approaches the apex of the Angel's Wings, I will have the final answer to my absurd stay on this terrestrial plane... mum plays tetris as I write this... grandma braided Hay's hair this weekend... Curious is and always will be taken care of via Hay... Noel and Steve must've been ghosts... like Odyseus's voyage through Hades...
...I've never been full mortal... just a half ghost...

If There's a Bustle in My HedgeFUND... Don't Be Alarmed Now...

...Yes, there are two paths you can go own... but in the long run... there's no time to change what road you're on...

I went directional all month... breakouts on the wrong side... neither hedge nor buffer, neither tragedy, nor sorrow, can bring this house down...
...I dipped my feet in Bethesda fountain water...
...I sprayed bottled water upon my head...
...it delayed dripped, and it looked like my head was leaking...
...all the knowledge, the experience... leaking from head, back to the ground of earth...
...time is running out... my friends... but neither joy or sorrow... but calm...

Rise Up... Rise Up... Behold, the Table Floats Ten Handles in the Air...

This photo is either the end of time or time captured in a public high school textbook in the late 70's. What it really is, is another Hudson sunset on the New Jersey side... well, Curious and I captured fireflies, which he calls firebugs, and put them in a vitamin water bottle, but made sure to let the out when we left the park on the philharmonic night(two nights ago)... two days later, China continues to play its seemingly proper hybrid centralization-freemarket philosophy, and eases up on the yuan(renmimbi) float... Asian bloc(yen) rallies big almost 3 handles, and as I write this, there is a brief retracement, as Japanese Tertiary Index proves to be weak...then the last of greenspan's humphrey hawkins, a sludge of earnings, and more terror ploys, and then, and then... I'm fading...

Summer Magic and Nostalgic Neurotin Droll...

Well, the Midnight Move in the euro was retraced close to 96% in the same session... a sureshot was the fade of the recovery for a high probability play, I'd thought it'd be more than 20 pips, but the impending Humphrey Hawkins two day meeting held the euro in place at a crucial breakout zone at 1.2050 which now serves as the nearest detonation checkpoint charlie... Claims of severe thunderstorms in the tri-state area, in this high 90's degree weather are abound, and there's some serious volatility storing up as I write this... I have to wear sunglasses to look left down the block, and then nightvision goggles to look right... I want to see the Philharmonic play at Central Park(8pm), but the trek might be filled with marauding trolls and goblins if the weather becomes stormy, and they begin to attack stray children... I'll probably go anyways with an umbrella and take the kids, because Mum is staying out after work... Short term, I want to play the volatility tomorrow morn, but if I get kidnapped by the Goblin King and brought before the GCT and charged with whatever misdemeanor, I'll be sure to have a rough night and perhaps be tied to a tree in the Ramble and whipped with reeds from the bog... Hay and Curious are to meet me Belvedere Castle if we get split up...

Mean Old Euro... Taught Me To Weep and Moan...

Shangrila I will return again... sometimes it's your during your P&L down days where you do your best trading... dealers love to gun stops... I had to get a better price average on my short which was trainwrecking me into a busload of indians hanging out of the windows, turbines flying about in a frenzied panic... it was getting ugly at an exponential rate... so I publicize to the dealer a stop to buy 5 million euros at 120.60 where I'm seeing a reversal... course, I ain't gonna take that 800 pound gorilla long position... I just need them to push the price action there, so I can actually double up on my short... and oh how they did paint the price there... of course I pulled that gorilla stop one second after they put it on the books... So I get short again on my truly much smaller position, average up the price, and end the day breakeven less the spread... avoided a massive ground zero I did... It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home...

Cost of Intellectual Capital...

I think I must be going all out retarded these days... I could've sworn that the CPI numbers were always released after the PPI since time immemorial but that doesn't matter a damned because these mixed signals keeps Lockheed on the sidelines, twiddling my thumbs unable to take any risk... Obviously they can't dare raise rates any higher than another 50 basis points, so the major carry trades have got to be priced in... For the past four months, I would have seriously been better off clicking on this link: http://www.wingnuttoons.com/bana.mov and watching this brief excerpt on repeat from 830 to 400pm est everday... as for this photo, it is of a stress ball that I purchased in Newport, RI around this time last year, and it has resurrected itself after toiling under the bed in the caverns of dismay... it reads, 'life is good', I call it the 'life is good ball' and when I pick it up and squeeze it, I say,'Hi life is good ball... what? Huh, yeah...' I pretend it talks to me... like I pretend alot of inanimate things talk to me, and a many abstract things to... right now I hear the tinkling of keys outside my door and my body sends alert signals as if I'm going to see my doppleganger... I just paused for about 61.8 seconds, but in writing, you can't tell that I did... tomorrow I doubt there will be any action in any market, and hopefully I won't force a trade out of angst and thrust my weekend into a trench of shithate and pain and fucking ripskin...

Reverse Blitzkrieg Bop... Eur/Gpb Dumps Meanly and With No Remorse...

Curious has put on his protective garb that protects against danger of all kinds... physical, psychological, and financial... So this is what happened... There was no retracement yet after the trade deficit number... and if there was going to be one, it would've been the euro, since the pound has not been retracing as much since the terroristas event... so I went long eur/usd and shorted gbp/usd as hedge... and then all hellfire breaks lose in my deadface... the pound roars up and the euro actually starts going down... so I'm getting double whammied and FAST... then finally I take the pound leg off and the euro rebounds a little, covering a mere 20% of the pound loss it should've covered 60%... Turns out... there was large players selling the Royal Cross: Eur/Gbp the bastards stayed late in their offices and played Western Europe to a tee, and selling euros and buying pounds because of the wide interest rate differential and because Prince William is so handsome... I should've kept that in mind... holy shit, you're reading the words of a dead man...

Your Anchor is Gone, You've Been Swept Away...

The power play on the major recovery against the USD was negged today with a reasonably good trade balance number for the greenback at -55.3 bil for the month of June, and a small revision for May... for now, we're back to a consolidation range, and I don't have any strong signals for letting winners run, thus tightening my stops again... but I'm look at brief reversal on the eur/usd to 1.2150 range... nothing to write home about...

JackFlash Sat On a Candlestick Cause...

...Hay's right shoe came apart when she walked home from St. Agnes Library on Amsterdam Ave, as the rain came down last Friday... None of the cobblers in the neighborhood had the proper tools to resole her shoe, as they shook their heads and sent us on our way... and now her heel aches... Aside from that, today was the first sign that the dollar bull might start giving back handy retracements to the majors...Posted by Picasa

Here's a Quick Trade I Put On Last Friday...

[SEE CHART: Click on in]...here's based on a quick 15 minute chart after sleeping through nonfarm payrolls last friday... I miss a solid retracement defined by a nice spike up evening star(keeping in mind, the number was only 'okay' and would revert to the mean)... So I sit pissing in my face angry... waiting for a late day move... thereupon forms a strong doji after the last spike down,(why last spike, because it's smack on the 61.8 and can't close below it) so I reverse and go long the euro and the pound(which dragged behind)... and took it off around 350pm est. because I don't hold over the weekend when pathetic fanatic fundamentalist might slaughter civilians and then we'll have to deal with the fucking killjoy liberals in our own country yelling at us because we don't understand the balabaaabalablabab..... call al sharpton... There are TWO LIBERALS: Those who are reasonably educated and went to liberal educations at Berkeley or Wesleyan or Brown... and then those liberals who never went to college, the post neo hippis who are predominantly working class... They may share the same views, but misguided indignation erupts in a battle of who's liberalism is more valid and thus RIGHTEOUS.... AAAAAHHHHHGGHGHGH FUCK THEM ALLL>>>>> Posted by Picasa

Dead Pool...

I'm down to my last hand... I gotta play the probabilities right and take enough risk... djia ripped up something ugly today... nonfarm was moderate, retracement galore in the majors... Doesn't matter, I have to play my cards right for the month of July with zero tolerance for fucking indignation and ignorance...

Down Up With the Three Ring Picadilly Circus...

Yeah... It's adaptation and rapid evolution... everything under the sun retraced today after the quadruple bombing, except for the pound sterling of course... Myself, I made a small hedge that went slightly bad... short eur/usd... short usd/chf(long swissie) in a safe haven play, with too much bad breathing room on the swiss side, and the cheese went rotten real fast... buffered about a third of my spike out loss, which shook me... shook me to the core as I'm rusty at this... I don't like when one of my lots die under my watch, forgot how sullied it makes one feel...

That's How This Business Goes...

...remember when we used to listen to the radio... it's been 610.80 years since I left you... who's heard but never seen... it's okay now... I will expire... and I know there are still plenty of troopers to win this battle...
