All the Greenery, is Coming Down..

So for fun reading, I finally got Cryptnomicon...yeah, so far so good, a lot like Baroque Cycle with its historical fiction... gets dark so early these days, a weak sun so to say... if Thelin is approved by the FDA this weekend, I might live long enough to finish 'half' of Cryptnomicon, and see if Hay becomes president of the debate club at school... When you look through the years and see what you could have been... oh, what you might have been... if you had, had more time... When the day comes to settle down, who's to blame if you're not around? You took the long way home...

I'll keep regular updates shown here, about my progress with the GoLite! Just click on the image to keep track!

Despite All It's Rage, It's Still Just a Rat in a Cage; the Dollar that is...

...can't seem to shake the anxiety these past few days, Go-Lite light is on, doing cardio and weights, and some fun nightly reading, yet my palms are still sweaty, a deluge, like the levee is going to break... the Dollar needs a breakout back to resilience, it should retrace to its 10 Day SMA, in both Yen and Euro, and bring the Eur/Jpy cross back to reality within 24 hours or so, expecting weak Eurozone figures overnight... and what do I get? For my paaaaiiiiiin?

I Am the Modren Man; Domo Arrigato Mr. Roboto, domo;Jap Industrial Production +1.6%m/m v -0.4% est.

...even with bernanke crosswinds, the greenback takes another wallop below the 116.00 handle...

Sure, You're Entitled to an Opinion, even if it is a Stupid Misinformed Opinion, as long as you don't act upon it...

...oh and if you do... pray that you have a good probability of being right... or I kill you in ways far beyond physical... and I support those who act upon well thought out opinions, knowing the risks... durable goods below Est, consumer confidence, below Est. existing home sales above Est, that's 2 negatives, and a mild positive with mixed emotions... and a slight rise in japanese industrial output... the world is a vampire...

Strong as an Ox, Fresh Out the Box!

...So ENCY had serious down volume earlier today, specs says hedgefund profit taking, ahead of the impending weekend 'FDA' decision on Thelin, stop hunting brokers cleaning books for the month of Nov, etc, all being plausible: http://www.fda.gov/ usually updates quickly... So the April 7.50 in the past two days traded as high as 1.60 and as low at 1.10 at the close today... I think regardless of the FDA decision, a backmonth as far as April is enough theta to buffer any 'further information', which I doubt will occur, because I do believe it will be approved finally this weekend for sale next year. Plus, an interesting note that the EU Approval of Thelin will help as Euro Sales will translate to stronger USD net income due to the currently plummeting dollar, and no more further rate hikes from the FOMC, if not, at least before April of next year, combined with a diminishing Short to Float ratio in ENCY. Basically, it's a spring that is tightly coiled and ready to pop, with the probability towards the upside of 55/45, and that's enough for me to get long.

Dining on expense accounted gruel...

...overall market meltdown, but not worried about April ENCY calls... plenty of theta too burn, with ENCY printing above $7.00 earlier in the day... sun sets so early these cyclical ray days, with the possibility of absolutely depressing me for the final linear time... visited Patches' grave over the holiday, might visit Amex's too... I'm going to start using my Go-Lite for 30 minutes or so a day in front of the computer; it's blue LED light that helps me feel okay and sleep better and I can check my progress on the golite website! My Go-Lite comes with an awesome carrybag, but I still don't want to drop it on the subway in case I trip or people push me while I'm fumbling to get my partial denture on. 'My Go-Lite, my Go-Lite!' 'Stop it, my big brother got this for me!' Shove. 'Get outta the way, dork!' Smash... and the graven image you know who, with his plastic crucifix, he's got me fixed...

Thanksgiving Slaughter...

...so the double edge of Illiquidity and the Stop Hunters shot the dollar down quickly since Thanksgiving... the Euro is now at the 76.4 retracement from its sell off high around 1.3600 down to 116.00 handle, in that 'sky is falling year time of 2004-2005... trading now around 1.3146... keep in mind that the Yen at that time was trading around 102.00 the last time the euro was at 1.3600; and is currently still trading around 115.00. Some big data this week, if short dollar covering takes place I'll short on pullbacks, if not, then go with the floodgates on Monday when the big players come in to see the mayhem.

If Syrian Terrorists Want Major Publicity, they need to randomly shout out the 'N-Word' everytime they kill a Cabinet Minister...

(see previous post)

Dreamworks Bankrupt Overnight After Pay Per Click Advertisement Contract with TMZ website...

...I decided to check out what the 'groundbreaking earth shattering news' was about 'Kramer', (whom I still don't know his real name), said at some comedy club. It wasn't funny, but it also wasn't newsworthy, but it was the first thing I saw on the news well ahead of the Lebanese Minister's gunshot death(if you look at the bullet pattern, and consider that it was 'point blank', either the gunman was horribly nervous, had turret's or cerebral palsy, or had a very long rifle http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=topNews&storyID=2006-11-21T180242Z_01_L21814193_RTRUKOC_0_US-LEBANON-MINISTER.xml&src=112106_1403_TOPSTORY_lebanese_minister_assassinated ); anyways, I didn't know Kramer was considered a 'role model' by the public to begin with, but apparently people are angry enough like he was Mother Theresa or the Queen of England or something, but the hilarious thing is, that when I clicked on the TMZ video cap, the first thing I had to sit through was an add for Dreamwork's 'Flushed Away'. Talk about incongruent. First of all, 'Happy Feet' somehow made over $40 million, and I think 'Flushed Away' bombed at the box office. And I could only imagine how many fucking clicks the TMZ video cap is getting because most people in this country have pussy syndrome. I saw the video, and didn't really get it; it was some local comedy club, not some live network Comedy Benefit show, and it was freaking 'Kramer'; and what's also hilarious is that on Letterman, he keeps saying 'Afro-Americans', trying his best to be politcally pussy correct. Also, I love the rainbow bright 'spin' that people are putting on the situation, that everyone of 'all' colors started walking out of the performance because they were 'All Offended'. Yeah right, the Black people left because they were offended, and the White people left because they were afraid of gunshots and rioting. (and don't say you wouldn't be!)

pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) Swiss Co. buys out smaller pharma for a mere inhalable version... ha!

ENCY Jan and April Calls, shoot up 25%, ENCY closes well above $6.00. For a simple Volatility premium going into Dec(FDA panel review on Thelin), and further sympathy buyouts in the sector, ENCY April Call, bids at .90 would be key, but if you missed the .90 prints the past few days, it might be too late. As for January, the corresponding edge is .55, but now it's .55-.85, really wide, so if you get a fill in the .60-.65 range, you might very well be solidly poised before expiration in 2007, and a 21 GUN SALUTE to the follied person who sold you those calls.

We're just a battery for hire with the guitar fire...Ready and aimed at you...Pick up your balls and load up your cannon... For a twenty-one gun salute....

So Lean Upon Them Gently... with their plastic crucifix...

...he's got them fixed... So... Correlation and/or Causation? First step, get it right in your fucking head. USD/JPY totally rangebound, so are March Coffee futures. Correlation, slightly. But ZERO Causation. Of course, apply this first rule of thumb to everything within the milky way before you erupt with misguided criticisms...

ECB'S TRICHET: NO TIME FOR COMPLACENCY, RISKS REMAIN; FINANCIAL MARKETS COULD BE UNDERPRICING RISKS -

I can't bring myself to buy eur/jpy into unchartered territories right now... anyways, today I brought the kids to the Bryant Park Holiday Village(just opened yesterday so there's still about half of the shops not up yet), let them ice skate(made them wear helmets and knee pads) and roam around, while I studied... we also got free hot cocoa in the Citi tent, because the sandwich kiosks known as 'Wich-craft' were obscenely overpriced. I wasn't going to pay an extra .25 for marshmallows not including tax... no way. Around 4:30, Curious came back to where I was sitting, with disarray on his face... I forbid Hay to let him see the original shop where Duncan Greeley came from, in the likely event that Curious would see several other versions of Duncan and become confused, if not terrified at the harsh ramifications of such a discovery. It's about 10:45 pm sunday 19/november, and he's still a little shaken up. Duncan is out at Blondies boozing and watching football as always, will stumble in around 2 or 3 am, and either sleep on the couch, or just go down to his office on the 2nd floor(S. Kaufman CPA's office) and crash on the waiting room couch, and hopefully wake up before Kaufman comes in(he sometimes asks me to call his cell around 645am, and on rare occasions we both get bacon egg and cheese bagels downstairs around 700am). If he wasn't chipping in for rent, I'd kick him out pronto. Heading into a holiday week and pretty much major holiday season, so lack of liquidity for a small guy like me is actually a good thing, but I don't see any further ramifications from the G-20 summit to warrant any solid moves.

Shot down in a blaze of glory....

...a large unwinding of the Usd/Jpy carry trade today, as housing numbers plummet, with more unwinding to come says Hay's prescience...

I guess I can also add that the March futures contract for coffee HCF dumped too...

...I drew first blood, call me young gun...

Alright, it's thin ice I'm walking on right now, but at least it's ice...

...and not fire and brimstone... So now I'm hedging Coffee Options with Coffee futures... it's a very exciting Pit, which is deeper in rings than the Rbob or Heating Oil Pit... and the actual floor looks more futuristic with less TT screens, and more green monitors like night galaxy spaceship frequencies... hopefully I last long enough that I can read some massive order flow from the mysteriously massive Interbanks by keeping a close ear on the Currency Pit which is over to the corner of the Coffee Pit. And that's about it. I traded a stable future to trade futures. And it can end at a drop of a dime. So what. I got the skills to trade independent anyways, evident in that my forex gains fed and sheltered me through the harsh summer months, up until now, and that's even with giving up half of them in a one month manslaughter.

The 3rd Post, or 2nd to last trade, about the Death Ratio... this post pertains too...

My Anchor is up, I've been swept away... The ratio grows more risky... I will sleep for a few days now... and clear my mind...

The Nausea of Those Who are soley Defined by their Oppositions(especially supposed oppositions)

I would certainly say it's natural to have some part of your identity, at different times in one's life, defined by the same or various oppositions. But the opposition seekers who have no other recourse in affirming a positive healthy self identity, due to their own flaws which they are incapable of acknowledging, basically try to create something out of nothing in order to have a sense, albeit utterly false, of tangible value in their own existence. In itself, that is just a sad way to live. However, the 'nauseating' aspect begins when this type of person does 'nothing' to actually dismantle the opposition(whether it is real or not, whether it is valid or not, whether the opposition even deserves to be dismantled), and is simply sated by constantly having this friction and misguided indignation(of course they don't know it's misguided), in which they are too dense or too weak or too pussy to actually confront on practical terms. Similar to hatemongering and weekend warriors. I for one, enjoy ping pong.

60/40 chance live till 35; Cleansing Chewseph's Home tonight...

...but do not be completely deceived by one probability, because if you ask living till 30, Lockheed is 29 right now, the ratio drops to 55/45. Moreover, age 40, the ratio is currently trading at 65/35. Similar to crucial survival periods, like Amex, who did not survive a High Risk time, as a Hatchling; whereas Chewseph, shown here, survived, and then began a period of robust strength, health, and domination...
...he now breaks his fast on honeydew... and can walk the caves of ice...

Been constantly so frustrated, I've moved mountains with less...

...feel supreme anxiety, yet tampered with exhaustion... anyways, in a few weeks time, there will be Holiday Villages in Manhattan, the largest one, being the Bryant Park one, complete with its relatively new ice skating rink, then the Union Square Village, where one can get a nice bird's eye view from Filenes; and of course the Columbus Circle Christmas Village, which opens into the Led Zeppelin wilderness of Central Park... all are great, with hot cocoa, and lights, both at sunset and night... filled with critters of not so make believe... I hope to live long enough to see these simple, fun villages again...

In the House of Stone and Light...

Usually, when you switch tax brackets, it's upwards... in 2002, I was taxed in the AMT 35% range(bonus, salary, and independent trading gains(along the lines of heavy leverage and outrights) that I mention to nobody as a matter of principle, as it jinxes everything, and that will never change), as of right now, I'm in the 15% bracket. Go figure. Thus, I look down out my window(shown here), and I capture a still life photo of the Pasta Express, and if you are savvy, you will notice the adjacent Foreman Grill... I NEVER buy napkins, never, as a matter of principle, I take tons from Taco Bell and Mcdonalds.

Two Topics: Proper Hanging, and Floyd 'Not So Pretty Boy' Mayweather 'Senior'

After work I ran into Floyd Mayweather Jr's father, also Floyd, who was not able to attend last weekend's fight due to a battery charge, (as in domestic or public violence, not as in his Bentley needed a jumpstart). Floyd Sr, being the coach of Oscar de la Hoya, said the fight would not happen between the Golden Boy and the Pretty Boy because Oscar's dad wants Oscar to retire. Talk about fucked up conflicts of interest. The interest alone on the purses of that fight could feed the entire nation of Sierra Leone.

A Hanging done properly, is as painless as dying in your sleep. All this chatter about people against the 'hanging' of Saddam Hussein. Some for reasons about incurring more violence, others borne out of WIMPS, MTV and Che Guevera-esque elitist liberal bullshit. For those who fall in the latter category, please watch the clip of 'Neil Berg', a mere anti-war journalist, getting slowly beheaded, and turn up the volume so you can hear him scream and gurgle, all the way until the knife is 3/4 through his neck.

Right Here, Right Now... Revolution has already passed you by...But Technically, a Revolution is a Circle...

Hay and Mum are jumping joyously for the blue sweep across the nation, so flippant that Hay hyper-extended her spine... Lockheed and Curious, don't care much, although they feel like some slightly smarter people will be making a lot more of the boring decisions for a while now. And there'll be a little less fatty boom booms on CSPAN wearing buckets of stale cologne. But it's like the great Rowdy Roddy Piper said in They Live, 'It's like putting perfume on a pig.'

In other news, ENCY April 7.50 call options are sufficiently underpriced, get some before Thanksgiving. There'll be some major implied vol coming up, and plenty of theta to burn... for I am the eye in the sky...

Gears of War Commercial: Celluloid Heroes, Never Feel Any Pain...

So, the Gears of War video game for XBOX has a hilarious commercial, due to the juxtaposition of a somber sorrowful, yet peaceful song with the graphical play of a future soldier versus aliens, etc... here is the original:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wcc-ERAEwA

if you look at the rest, on Youtube, there are tons of other Remixes, where people tried to substitute other songs that would work well with the clip of the video game in the commercial.

...also, in other news, I fear and feel sadness that the NYMEX might go fully electronic soon, save for the option market makers, of which I am on the lowest totem of, so I might be safe, and be part of keeping alive the fabled hallowed ground of the trading pits of civilization...

...also, as seen here: spicy hummus, cabot sharp cheddar cheese, and triscuits, make an excellent hearty snack, and moreover, an almighty last supper...

For Those About to Rock, Lockeed Salutes You...

First off, the third female on the right, is Doria, the Deputy Honored Matre(post below). She's a new character in the Fabled Dune 7 'Hunters of Dune'. Next on the agenda: HO alone, sans calendar spreads, is high probability/moderate risk directional trading. Forget your deltas, gammas, and rho and what not. Forget the 38.2, or the 61.8, the Pivot is close enough each day to 50%, that you can retrace, and then fade, or vice versa knowing your Exits and Entries like a Sentry.

The Serenity of a Clear Blue Mountain Lake...

So for the picture top left to right: Bellonda(Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother), Murbella[(Great Honored Matre/Bene Gesserit Mother Superior), thus Mother Commander] and then some other Honored Matre, that I don't know who she is, but she is cool looking. And then the Guild Navigator Steersman rank in the pod is probably D'tair, the twin brother of C'tair from the days when Muad Dib's father was just a little kid(we're wolf talking about 3400 years ago, from the time when Ix fell to the Tleilaxu, which would be about 9000 c.e. earth time, or 7000 years from now, but Navigators live very long due to spice saturation). D'tair is someone else, I am still right here... and the man on the bottom left I think is Scytale a Tleilaxu Master, and the other guys must be Tleilaxu Researchers, or Guildsmen.

Hoping for Fat Lognormal Tails...

One often hears of elite fields where it's either: Hard to get into, but Easy to stay in; or Easy to get into, but Hard to stay in. I've come upon a time/space nexus in Lockheed world where he is now amongst a field where it's: Hard to get into; Hard to stay in. That being getting on and staying on the fucking floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). I hope Lockheed falls within the fat tail skewed towards the right, I'm already in, but that's not even half the battle. If he doesn't, well, I can safely say, my days are numbered like the Christian/Jewish G-d knows the number of every fucking hair on your head, including my premature white hairs.
And then I must conclude: For those about to rock, we salute you!
